Wendy Williams‘ house the federal government appears to be targeting after slapping her with a lien for unpaid taxes, which they claim total hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Legal documents that TMZ was able to obtain show that Uncle Sam placed a tax lien on the former talk show host’s expensive NYC condo, which she reportedly paid $4.5 million for in 2021. The feds claim that Wendy owes them $568,451.57.

They assert that she owes large amounts for her federal taxes for the years 2019 and 2021, which is the reason for this outstanding debt.

The lien was created in January of this year, according to online documents, and it was filed with the New York City Department of Finance at the beginning of February.

Although there doesn’t seem to be any proof that the lien has been paid as of yet, it’s possible WW has already resolved this; we’ve contacted the guardian of her money designated by the court, but we haven’t heard back as of yet.

Naturally, this is concerning for several reasons, chief among them being the revelation of Wendy’s health issues, which include the report from her team that she has been diagnosed with dementia and aphasia.

By the way, Sabrina Morrissey, Wendy’s financial guardian, apparently joined the team following the reported tax infractions. She was appointed somewhere in the spring of 2022.

Is the guardian now taking care of this?

Just so you know, Wendy doesn’t seem to have the typical team surrounding her anymore.
