Vince Young, a former NFL quarterback, seemed to be rendered unconscious after a bar fight in Texas earlier this month.

The fight happened on February 4 at Tokyo Joe’s Shot Bar in Houston, according to TMZ Sports.

Young and another man are seen arguing with patrons at the bar in the video that TMZ was able to obtain, and that’s when things became physical.

“The footage shows one man appearing to slam his drink in another man’s face,” according to outlet. “Seconds later, the same man can be seen throwing an elbow that connects flush.”

Young appeared to be struck down by a punch just as it appeared like the altercation was winding down.

The owner of the pub called the Houston Police Department, claiming he was struck by an elbow and a drink. Officers told Outlet that the owner had started the argument with clients over a “conversation about race—and turned physical once he asked them to leave.”

The bar owner did not file charges and no arrests were made. Young has been silent about the circumstances.

Young started two seasons as a starter for the University of Texas and was a phenomenal quarterback. In a 41-38 victory over USC in the BCS Championship Game, he threw for 267 yards, ran for 200 yards, and scored three rushing touchdowns to lead the Longhorns to a national championship in 2005.

In the 2006 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans chose Young with the third overall choice. In six NFL seasons, he was selected to the Pro Bowl twice, winning the title of Offensive Rookie of the Year in his first year of play.
