Tony Dungy, a famous NFL coach, says Taylor Swift ‘Disenchants’ Fans Distraction from Game!!!

Tony Dungy is causing trouble with the NFL’s new star attraction, Taylor Swift … basically saying she takes away the focus from the game, which he doesn’t like.

In a recent Fox News interview, the ex-NFL player/coach was questioned about Travis Kelce’s biggest supporter, and he said the “Taylor Swift effect” distracts from what happens on the field … likening her to unwanted interference that affects the game.

Tony Dungy said, “That’s the thing that’s disenchanting people with sports now. There’s so much on the outside coming in. Entertainment value and different things taking away from what really happens on the field.”

Dungy knows what he’s talking about … he has a lot of experience and achievements. Tony was an NFL player for three seasons before becoming a coach who won a Super Bowl and got into the NFL Hall of Fame.

Taylor has been a regular visitor in Travis’ box at Chiefs games since last September and even came to the New Year’s Eve game against the Bengals. She’s expected to attend the playoff game in K.C. against the Dolphins tonight even though it’s freezing.

We’re not sure if TS has watched the interview yet, but we can guess what she might think … based on her famous Golden Globes glare at Jo Koy.

Taylor gave the GG host a dirty look during his awkward opening speech when he said, “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL — on the Golden Globes we have fewer camera shots to Taylor Swift.”

It was a joke that didn’t land well, but Dungy and Koy have a similar idea … Taylor is not the problem. It’s the NFL taking away attention from its main product, its games, to attract a new crowd.

It seems like you can get into trouble just for cheering on your guy … hopefully Taylor can forget about it before the game starts at 5 PM PT on Saturday.
