This week, ahead of her major Disney+ premiere, Taylor Swift and the Hollywood sign will become one and the same, and the neighbors are furious about it…TMZ has learned.

According to the film permission notice that neighbors have received, the project that has been ramping up all week is causing concern among those who live near the renowned landmark near Griffith Park in Los Angeles. The production is slated to shoot something major on Wednesday.

A copy of one of those permit papers, which TMZ has gotten, explains very clearly what is going down. They were also confirmed that law enforcement is in receipt of the document, with cops being informed that filming is scheduled to take place down the Hollywood sign tomorrow.

Take a look at the notice for yourself. It states that production for “Disney + TS” will be happening along Mulholland Highway, directly beneath the Hollywood sign. Tuesday is spent preparing for the shoot, and on Wednesday the cameras are supposed to be rolling nonstop.

Arriving on Thursday, the production crew will begin dismantling and packing up, which is why the nearby neighbors are reportedly very upset about the whole situation.

According to the locals, this is not only a huge eyesore, but it’s also causing a lot of foot traffic and noise, which is upsetting their tranquility and way of life. There has reportedly been extensive internal communication between various house associations and other organizations, and it’s safe to conclude that people there are unhappy with Taylor’s arrival.

Unfortunately for them, the show must go on. As you can see, aerial photography will also be included. Drones are reportedly anticipated—possibly in large numbers—in the mix. Before Swifties get too excited and start climbing the hill, it should be noted that the permit does not specifically state that Taylor will be performing at this event.

Of course, this show will take place the day before Taylor’s “Eras” Tour concert movie becomes available on Disney+; nevertheless, it will only be available as “Taylor’s Version,” with four more songs.

Disney has been promoting this release nonstop, so you can only assume that they’re thrilled to be the one on which Taylor chose to release her movie—after all, it was a huge hit in theaters.

It makes obvious that they would want to promote it even more, therefore they would probably do something spectacular.

We’ve contacted Taylor’s team and Film L.A., but we haven’t heard back as of yet.
