Patrick Mahomes Sr. Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) Third Time or More usnewsdaily has learned.

Patrick Mahomes Sr., father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, has once again found himself in legal trouble. He was arrested in Tyler, Texas, for driving while intoxicated (DWI)—a serious offense. This marks his third or more DWI charge. Notably, this incident occurred just eight days before his son, Patrick Mahomes II, is set to play in Super Bowl 2024 against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas on February 11.

In 2019, Mahomes Sr. faced a similar situation when he was arrested for a second or more DWI charge. He served 40 days in jail as a consequence of that offense.

This recent arrest adds further complexity and distraction for the Chiefs star quarterback and his team ahead of the big game.
