One Dead and Nine Injured in Shooting Incident Tragedy Strikes at Chiefs’ Super Bowl Parade

According to law enforcement, one person died in the shooting incident, while nine others sustained injuries.

Disturbing and graphic video footage has surfaced, revealing several people requiring urgent medical assistance, with blood visible on the ground nearby. It’s a heartbreaking and distressing situation for all involved.

According to a statement from the Kansas City Police Department, that shortly after Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes addressed the hundreds of thousands of K.C. supporters at Union Station … gunfire erupted around a garage nearby.

It is reported by police that “two armed people” have been “detained for more investigation.”

According to the authorities all people are being asked leave the area “to facilitate treatment of shooting victims,” .

The horrific nature of the situation is captured on camera, when several police officers can be seen racing inside Union Station with their weapons drawn to address the situation.

According to a statement from the KCPD, the officers were “working to provide for the safety of everyone inside union station and expedite care of those injured.”

James Palmer of NFL Network, on the other hand, said that when the gunshots started, he and his colleagues were first told to hide under a stage. However, they were removed out of the scene a short while after.

Linebacker Drue Tranquill of the Chiefs wrote on his X page after the chaos, “Pray that doctors & first responders would have steady hands & that all would experience full healing.” in response to the prayers sent for the injured.

Additionally, Mahomes wrote on X, “Praying for Kansas City…”
