North West is officially following in Kanye West’s footsteps as she announced her debut album on Sunday … a title straight out of her father’s legendary catalog.

Kanye gave North the floor at his “Vultures 2” listening party in Phoenix on Sunday night, and he unveiled the album’s title — “Elementary School Dropout.”

The announcement sent a huge cheer throughout the venue, as the crowd immediately chanted the title as a tribute to Kanye West’s memorable debut, “The College Dropout”… which went back to 2004, Long before Northwest was even a twinkle in his eye.

Hip-hop nostalgia aside, North’s album title is interesting for another reason — Kanye is currently waging a war against his daughter’s private school in LA.

Kim Kardashian must have some kind of sense in the album title… we know she’s upset Kanye is airing her complaints about school on social media, instead of talking to her privately. .. as required by their divorce settlement.

North’s crack at rap stardom began with his feature on Kanye’s “Vultures 1” and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Talking/Once Again.”

That puts her in historic company as one of the youngest artists to land on the Billboard charts … and an early indication that she’ll return for “Vultures 2” and, eventually, her own record.
