The conflict ignited when Megan Thee Stallion’s latest song included the lines, “These h*** don’t be mad at Megan / these h**** mad at Megan’s Law”. These lyrics are believed to reference a U.S. law related to registered sex offenders.
After the release of this track, fans of Nicki Minaj interpreted the lyrics as a harsh dig at her husband, who had previously served a four-year prison sentence for attempted rape charges.
In response, Nicki Minaj taking to Instagram, the songstress called out Megan in a live session by saying, “You let just everyone be thrown under the bus. You let Da Baby be thrown under the bus, Tory (Lanez), your best friend, your mom.”
The sharp remarks made by the 41-year-old music icon quickly sparked a flurry of reactions from fans.
