Michael B. Jordan, the 36-year-old actor, has been absolved of any potential charges related to a Ferrari crash into a stationary car in Hollywood.
As reported by TMZ on Thursday, sources from law enforcement stated that the investigation has been wrapped up and no charges will be filed against him.
The actor seems to have vindicated himself, as the investigators couldn’t conclusively prove that he was at the wheel during the car accident on Sunset Boulevard on December 3, 2023.
Subsequent footage from the incident depicted Michael’s blue Ferrari racing against another red sports car. However, this wasn’t sufficient for the authorities to confirm if he was speeding before the collision.
Despite an insider’s claim to the Daily Mail that the actor was driving the Ferrari at the time of the crash, law enforcement authorities stated that street racing would have been the most probable violation for the Creed actor. But to establish this, the police needed either to witness him driving at the time of the collision or to have solid evidence that he was the driver.
The police couldn’t ascertain if Michael could be charged with speeding, as they didn’t have access to the crash site until after the incident.
