Emergency crews are currently responding to a massive explosion at the Akal Bravo maritime platform in Campeche, Mexico.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that 11 people have died, with 8 of them being from the company that worked for Pemex, and numerous others injured.

The number of affected workers is currently unknown. The smoke visible for miles.
