According to law enforcement sources, the police received a 911 call in the afternoon about a “disorderly person” in Taylor’s upscale Manhattan neighborhood, where the pop star owns some valuable property.
Upon arrival, the officers came across the disorderly man and discovered that he had attempted, unsuccessfully, to enter Taylor’s building.
It’s uncertain whether the man knew that the building belonged to Taylor. However, photos have been obtained showing the man standing right outside her building’s front door, which is quite unsettling.
Additional images depict NYPD officers handcuffing the man and escorting him into a police vehicle.
It’s reported that the police conducted a background check on the unidentified suspect and arrested him based on a 2017 warrant for failing to respond to a court summons in Brooklyn. The reason for the warrant remains unclear. NYPD officials have not yet decided whether to press charges for this recent incident.
Attempts to reach out to Taylor’s team have so far been unsuccessful.
Given Taylor’s extensive history with stalkers, including one who was arrested less than two years ago for trying to enter her Manhattan home, she has ample reason to be concerned about unexpected visitors.
