“LST-325 will honor veterans day through an event on Saturday. According to the director of LST-325, Chris Donahue, the program is set for Saturday morning at 11:00.
He mentioned that the event will take place on the top deck of the ship and is open to everyone.
Donahue stated that the program will include a color guard and rifle salute, along with the ship’s bells ringing 21 times.
He also mentioned that Deputy Mayor Steve Schaffer will be present to say a few words.
There will be a bagpiper from the Evansville Fire Department Pipes and Drums as well.”
