A powerful storm system swept through North Florida this afternoon, leaving destruction in its wake.

A confirmed large tornado tore through St. Augustine, Florida, as severe storms moved across the state.

The National Weather Service issued a TDS warning, signaling a dangerous tornado on the ground. 

Photos show some damage from the confirmed large damaging tornado that passed through the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida.
