Because of their recent small-scale collaborations, some *NSYNC fans believe that Justin Timberlake has complete control over the other men. However, Joey Fatone calls that notion absurd.

TMZ photog caught up with the boy band singer at LAX on Monday and asked him all about their recent performance with Justin Timberlake in L.A. for the release of his most recent album. The album includes a song featuring *NSYNC, which is only their most recent studio collaboration, but fans are clamoring for the real deal.

NSYNC

Of course, outlet photographer inquired about the possibility of a formal reunion for *NSYNC. Joey responded with the same old, “not now, but maybe one day” response that we have been hearing for months.

In essence, Joey states that because to everyone’s busy schedules, there won’t be a formal get-together anytime soon. However, he does admit that if they were to reunite in 2024 to record new music, it would likely sound a lot like their hit song “Paradise.”

Additionally, he states that *NSYNC has no problem banding together for Justin Timberlake whenever possible. However, he completely rejected the idea that they’re on call for Justin these days, as some people have suggested online, telling them that’s not the dynamic here when outlet camera guy inquired.

NSYNC

Joey assures us that the group has turned down Justin’s requests before—many times, in fact—and that he understands why some might come to that conclusion. Keep in mind, *NSYNC made an appearance on both JT’s new album and his new “Trolls” movie.

The camera guy puts it thus way: The *NSYNC guys are NOT Justin’s industry booty call — contrary to what some might assume. Joey is very clear that the *NSYNC guys are all booked and busy with their own professions, so when they collaborate, it’s only because it works for everyone.

NSYNC

Well explained, but it should go without saying that many are clamoring for a return to the *NSYNC moment. Unfortunately, based on the sound of things, that’s probably not going to happen anytime soon.
