Michael Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, is stepping into the spotlight to portray the legendary King of Pop in the upcoming MJ biopic.

Let me tell you, the resemblance is uncanny! Jaafar was fully transformed with hair, makeup, and an authentic costume as he filmed scenes in the Encino area of Los Angeles. “Michael” marks the first official film to delve into MJ’s extraordinary life on the big screen.

It’s exciting to see Jaafar channeling his late uncle’s iconic presence. The anticipation for this biopic is building, and fans worldwide are eager to witness the magic unfold.

Jaafar Jackson, who happens to be Jermaine Jackson’s son, bears an uncanny resemblance to his iconic uncle, Michael Jackson. Recently, Lionsgate, the studio behind the much-anticipated MJ biopic, treated fans to a sneak peek of Jaafar in character as the King of Pop.

The promotional photo, mirroring Michael’s 1992-1993 Dangerous Tour, showcases Jaafar’s remarkable transformation. Seriously, he’s practically a spitting image of the legendary entertainer!

In this fresh glimpse of Jaafar as Michael Jackson, he’s donned a more formal attire: a crisp white button-down shirt and a tie. The transformation is striking, allowing us to truly appreciate how closely he resembles the legendary King of Pop.

Joining Jaafar on set is Nia Long, who takes on the role of Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson. Nia, too, has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis, rendering her nearly unrecognizable. It’s fascinating to witness these actors fully embody their characters, just as we did last week with Colman Domingo (portraying Joe Jackson) and the other actors representing the younger Jackson 5.

Yet, it’s Jaafar who shines as the star of the show. His portrayal seems to have seamlessly transformed him into Michael Jackson himself. The anticipation for the biopic is palpable, even though we’ll have to wait until April 2025 for its theatrical release. So far, visually, everything appears to be hitting the mark.

As MJ’s devoted fans eagerly await the film’s debut, we’ll all be watching with bated breath.
