Recently, fans have been expressing their worries about Elle King after she seemed to have indulged a bit too much before her performance at Nashville’s New Year’s Eve Bash.

These concerns have grown as King appeared to be in a similar state during her performance at the Grand Ole Opry’s Opry Goes Dolly tribute to Dolly Parton at the Ryman Auditorium. She admitted to the audience that she was “f*cking hammered.”

During her performance, King delivered a speech filled with profanities, and her words were slurred and difficult to understand. Her rendition of “Marry Me” from Dolly’s 2001 album Little Sparrow was also affected, with King shouting an expletive in the middle of the song.

Following the performance, fans expressed their disappointment on social media, criticizing King for disrespecting the Opry, the Ryman Auditorium, and Dolly Parton herself.

The Opry responded to a fan on Twitter, apologizing for the language King used during her performance.

Fans hope that whatever issues King may be facing, she can find the help she needs, especially as this is the second such incident in less than a month.
