Elizabeth Hurley called the rumors that she was the “older woman” who took Prince Harry‘s virginity “absurd” and denied them.

In his first memoir, Spare, the Duke of Sussex discussed the incident but chose not to identify the woman in question. Rather, he called it an “inglorious episode with an older woman who liked macho horses and who treated me like a young stallion”.

According to Harry, he “mounted her quickly, after which she spanked my rump and sent me away”. Despite the fact that several readers were convinced of this after the book’s publication. Elizabeth has refuted accusations that she was the woman Harry wrote about.

“That was ludicrous. He said, ‘She was English. She was older than me. It was in Gloucestershire.’ And they were like, ‘Ah, it’s Elizabeth.’ It was absurd. It was ridiculous,” she said during an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

The actress also insisted she had “never met” Harry in her life. She then joked to the host: “He’s great-looking. He’s American. Oh, it’s Andy Cohen.”

Writing in Spare, Harry said: “[It was an] inglorious episode with an older woman. She liked horses, quite a lot, and treated me not unlike a young stallion. Quick ride, after which she’d smacked my rump and sent me off to graze. Among the many things about it that were wrong: it happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub.”

Sasha Walpole came out after Spare was freed to assert that she was the one who had sex with Harry in the field. She stated that the two had sex together after slinking out of a local bar to buy cigarettes.

Sasha recounted how, in honor of her 19th birthday in 2001, the two began the evening with endless shots of tequila, Baileys, and sambuca. Harry was keen to lift her spirits after she disclosed that she had been depressed after her partner broke up.

Sasha said in an interview with the Daily Mail, “It was instant, fiery, wham bam, between two friends. It was sparky because we shouldn’t have been doing it.”

She continued, “We didn’t set out to do it – it wasn’t premeditated and I didn’t know he was a virgin. There were no virgin vibes – he seemed to know what he was doing. It was quick, wild, exciting.”
