David Gail, Renowned ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ and Soap Opera Actor, Dies at 58

David Gail, a notable soap opera actor who also featured in several episodes of “Beverly Hills, 90210,” has sadly died, as confirmed by his sister.

Katie Colmenares, Gail’s sister, revealed the heartbreaking news on Instagram this past Saturday. She expressed “hold you so tight every day in my heart” she would miss him “every second of every day forever.” The cause of death was not disclosed.

Peter Ferriero, host of a “Beverly Hills, 90210” rewatch podcast, also confirmed Gail’s passing.

Gail had an extensive acting career, including seven roles on ‘BH: 90210’ where he portrayed Stuart Carson, the fiancé of Shannen Doherty’s character. However, he is most recognized for his contributions to the world of soap operas.

He was a regular on the “General Hospital” spin-off, Port Charles, appearing in 216 episodes as Dr. Joe Scanlon #2, as per IMDb.

Gail’s acting credits also include roles in “Matlock,” “Murder, She Wrote,” “The Round Table,” “Doogie Howser, M.D.,” “Perfect Opposites,” and “Growing Pains.” He even shared the screen with Bradley Cooper in the 2002 romantic comedy “Bending All The Rules.”

David Gail was 58 years old.
