Country music icon Colt Ford suffered a heart attack and ended up in the hospital…after his show in Arizona last week…. however, according to his team, he is doing well.

Colt is reportedly stable and in an ICU at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona, according to the singer’s team. This comes after a medical incident that occurred after the singer’s performance at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Gilbert on Thursday night.

His autoimmune condition, Myasthenia Gravis, was reportedly discovered in 2022; therefore, it’s possible that this condition helped to his heart attack, however this is still unclear.

Ford is well-known in the country-rap music industry. In addition to having multiple number one songs, he was the original recorder of Jason Aldean’s “Dirt Road Anthem,” which has received over 927 million streams worldwide.

On the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, he has made five straight Top 10 debuts. In 2012, his album “Declaration of Independence” peaked at number one.

Two years later, “Thanks for Listening” topped the Billboard Rap & Independent charts in addition to reaching the Top 10 of the Top 200.

For his song “Cold Beer” alongside Jamey Johnson, he has also been nominated for an Academy of Country Music Award.

We wish him to heal quickly and get well soon.
