Cara Delevingne‘s Los Angeles-area house caught fire in the late hours of the night this week — and it turned out to be a blaze so large that the fire brigade had to be called out.

The model’s massive property in Studio City caught fire early Friday morning — around 3:52 AM, we’re told — requiring a massive response from the fire department … firefighters. Crews rushed to douse the flames with hoses. occupied most of the house.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that when fire firefighters arrived at the scene, they discovered that a backroom of some kind on the property had caught fire. At this point, it’s unclear what caused the incident. The 911 report for a fire was initially received at 3:57 AM PST.

Anyway, this was a huge one; according to TMZ reports, part of the roof even fell and the fire even spread to the attic. Firefighters reported that it took them more than two hours to completely extinguish and confine the fire. Furthermore, according to outlet sources, there were several injuries.

One fireman reportedly suffered injuries after falling from a ladder while attempting to put out the fire, though it’s unclear how serious the injuries were. Additionally, according to sources, a home inhabitant received treatment for smoke inhalation.

We know Cara wasn’t at the scene … she’s currently in England, and was photographed outside on Thursday. Cara has been performing at the Playhouse Theater all week.

The size of the fire cannot be overstated, as it demanded an enormous reaction. We’ve been informed that 94 firefighters in all arrived on the site in 13 different engines to battle the fire. Per outlet reports, four ambulances were dispatched to the scene as well.

It goes without saying that Cara is a stunning homeowner. Her house was highlighted in an Architectural Digest spread in 2019 and she gave a tour of the grounds, including the inside remodel. The house is more than 8,000 square feet and has four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

It has almost every luxuries found in a Los Angeles luxury home.

An interesting fact about this house is that it was initially constructed in 1941 for a well-known family, the Von der Ahes, who founded the Vons supermarket chain. Indeed, this house has a history.

We’ve reached out to Cara’s rep … so far, no word back yet.
