Cara Delevingne, the model and actress, made an unexpected appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs game in Buffalo, New York, on Sunday. She joined her close friend, Taylor Swift, to support Swift’s boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce.
Swift and Delevingne were seen together in a suite at Highmark Stadium, along with Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed, his elder brother Jason, and Jason’s wife, Kylie.
This event marks the third public outing for Delevingne, 31, and Swift, 34, in the past three months. They were previously seen together during a girls’ night out in December with Selena Gomez, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Zoë Kravitz, and a dinner in November with Gomez, Sophie Turner, Gigi Hadid, and Brittany Mahomes, who also attended Sunday’s game.
Delevingne and Swift share a long-standing friendship, with Delevingne even featuring as Mother Chucker in Swift’s 2015 music video for “Bad Blood”.
In addition to supporting the Chiefs, Delevingne is also a fan of Swift and Kelce’s relationship. In November, she expressed her happiness for her friend’s budding romance to E! News, stating, “There’s definitely something very different about them. I’m always rooting for my girl.”
Sunday’s divisional playoff game was a rematch between the Chiefs and the Bills, following their previous encounter on December 10 at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri, where the Bills won 20-17 with Swift in the audience.
If Kelce and his team win this game and the subsequent AFC Championship Game, they will advance to the Super Bowl on February 11.
This game also marks the 11th time Swift has attended a Chiefs game this season. A win for the Chiefs would improve their record to 8-3 when Swift is present.
The couple, who started dating after Kelce mentioned attending Swift’s Eras Tour on his New Heights podcast in July, made their relationship public when Swift attended the Chiefs vs. Bears game on September 24, which the Chiefs won.
Last week, Swift braved the freezing temperatures to watch the Chiefs’ game against the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead Stadium. She saw Kelce secure a victory with a final score of 26-7, alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna, and Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.
Swift, also known as the “Karma” singer, sported a custom red puffer jacket with “Kelce” and his jersey number “87” displayed on the front, back, and sleeves.
