Britney Spears Criticizes Justin Timberlake for ‘talking s–t’: Go cry to your mom again

Britney Spears, 42, didn’t hold back in her response to her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, who seemed to have made a negative comment about her.

She took to Instagram on Thursday to express her feelings, posting a picture of a basketball hoop and writing, “Someone told me someone was talking s–t about me on the streets !!!”

She challenged the person, presumably Timberlake, asking, “Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time ???” she added. “I’m not sorry !!!”

This came after Timberlake, 43, appeared to throw a veiled insult at Spears during a concert in New York City on Wednesday night.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f–king nobody,” declared the former *NSYNC member to the crowd. He then performed his 2002 chart-topper “Cry Me a River,” a song that was born out of his past relationship with Spears, where he felt betrayed by her infidelity.

“What a prick!” One critic didn’t mince words under a video of Timberlake’s half-hearted apology, bluntly calling him, Meanwhile, another was in disbelief, exclaiming, “Nooooo he did not traaaassssh.”

Earlier in the week, the pop icon Britney Spears took to Instagram to express her apologies to anyone she might have upset with her explosive new book, stating in a post that has since been removed, “I am deeply sorry.”

She then specifically reached out to her ex-boyfriend, the former boy band member, saying,“I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’ It is soo good.”

Interestingly, Spears’ commendation of the “Mirrors” singer came just days after her fans had gone on a spree of streaming and purchasing her 2011 song “Selfish” in an attempt to keep his new single, which shares the same title, from reaching the top of the charts.
