In a legal saga that has spanned two years, Angelina Jolie remains steadfast in her allegations against Brad Pitt claiming assault, and the actress has yet to reach common ground with the FBI over the investigation.

Angelina’s lawyers are still going back and forth for the Department of Justice informed the court according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.

“The parties are continuing to meet and confer regarding outstanding issues,” the joint status report read. “The parties propose filing an update with the Court by April 11, 2024, apprising the Court as to what issues remain.

In 2022, Angelina Jolie, known for her role in The Eternals, took a bold step by filing a lawsuit against Brad Pitt. She accused him of assault. To shed light on the matter, she invoked the Freedom of Information Act and requested records related to the FBI’s investigation into the allegations.

Back in 2016, during a private plane journey from France to Los Angeles, Angelina Jolie, a mother of six, found herself in a distressing situation. According to her account, Brad Pitt, the renowned actor from Troy, was intoxicated and became physically aggressive.

Jolie claimed he “grabbed her by the head, shaking her, followed by grabbing her at the shoulders and shaking her.”

“f—— up this family and punched the ceiling of the plane,” Jolie added.

Following thorough investigations by both the FBI and the DCFS, no legal charges were ultimately filed against Brad Pitt in connection with the incident.
