All My Children Actor Alec Musser’s Cause of Death Revealed

The All My Children actor Alec Musser killed himself with a gunshot wound, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

His fiancée Paige Press discovered him at their Del Mar, California house. She said that he was alive when she went to sleep on Friday night and she found him on the bathroom floor the next morning with a shotgun next to him.

The police and the paramedics came and said that Musser was dead and his death was a suicide. He was 50 years old.

Press posted on her Instagram Story on Saturday to announce Musser’s death.

“RIP to the love of my life,” She said in the post, which had many pictures of Musser. “I will never stop loving you. My heart is broken.”

She added in another story, “Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy,”

She also wrote to Musser, saying, “You were the best fiancé I could of ever asked for.”

Musser played Del Henry on the All My Children soap opera on ABC from 2005 to 2007. He was also in Rita Rocks and the TV movie Road to the Altar in 2009, and in Desperate Housewives on ABC in 2011.

Adam Sandler and Salma Hayek Pinault posted on Instagram to honor him after his death.

Sandler, 57, shared scenes from their 2010 movie Grown Ups and said “I loved this guy. Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person.”

Hayek Pinault, 57, posted the scene on her Instagram on Monday “In loving memory of Alec Musser.”

He was so kind professional and absolutely hilarious. His early departure breaks my heart. I feel so blessed that I got to meet him,” she said.

She also said, “My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones for this great loss. 🖤”
